We’re excited to welcome the newest nonprofit in Carpinteria — The Heart of Gold Charitable Foundation — and meet its co-founders, Kellie Wolfe and Vanessa Van Der Kar.

Heart of Gold Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in Carpinteria in 2025. They host a monthly Pop-Up Thrift Store to raise funds that support the creative arts in our community. Through the affordable resale of lightly used clothing, they help fund:
✨ Creative arts scholarships
👕 Clothing assistance for local families
🌎 Environmental stewardship & sustainability

Donation drive: Please bring clean clothing donations (any size!) for the thrift store and help support their mission.

And as always—bring a friend, and a dish or drink to share!
