The Carpinteria Woman's Club ("CWC," "we," "us") is a community organization founded in 1894 to promote education, the arts, philanthropy, and community action in Carpinteria, California. - **Membership applications.** Name, contact information, and other details you include on the application form.

- **Event tickets, dues, and rentals.** Payments to CWC are processed through PayPal. When you pay through PayPal, your payment information goes directly to PayPal and is subject to PayPal's privacy policy. We receive confirmation details such as your name, email, and what you paid for. We never see or store your full card number.
We use this information to process your membership, respond to your inquiries, manage events and rentals, and communicate with you about club business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We keep membership and event records only as long as needed for club administration and any legal or tax requirements, then delete or archive them.

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including relying on the security practices of Squarespace, TicketSauce, and PayPal. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we take care with what you share.
## Children
Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site.
