Welcome back, friends! It’s been a long hot summer and we are happy to return to our monthly meeting schedule and see your smiling faces.

First out of the gate, please join us Wednesday, September 9 at 7:00 PM as we welcome local photographer and social activist Ingrid Bostrom.

Ingrid Bostrom is a Carpinteria-based photojournalist whose work focuses on current events and the people of Santa Barbara County. With a background in studio art and a former career in interior design, she brings a refined eye for color, composition, and visual storytelling to her photography. Her work has earned multiple honors, including first place in photojournalism at the California News Publishers Association (CNPA) Journalism Awards and the 2026 Woman of the Year award presented by California State Senate President Pro Tempore Monique Limon. She will present a slide show of her work, “In Focus with Ingrid Bostrom.”

The September meeting opens the new year of membership to CWC. Annual dues of $50 may be paid by check, cash, or online on our website.
