Sewing for Humanitarian Projects with the Crafty Ladies

  • Carpinteria Woman's Club Clubhouse 1059 Vallecito Road Carpinteria, CA, 93013 United States (map)

Fall is upon us, and with it comes the season of giving and gratitude.

Please join us for our next Carpinteria Woman’s Club gathering on Wednesday, November 11 at 7 PM at the Clubhouse, 1059 Vallecito Road, for a presentation on Sewing for Humanitarian Projects by Louise Moore and Zoe Iverson of the Carpinteria Community Church “Crafty Ladies.”

About our speakers

Louise Moore started a sewing group at Carpinteria Community Church as a women’s fellowship in January 2005. In 2011, the group moved to a larger room and opened to the whole community. For more than 20 years, Louise has led what is now known as the Crafty Ladies.

Zoe Iverson joined in 2011 when Louise offered Zoe and her friends use of the room to sew dresses for a mission to Africa. Zoe never left. Today she is in charge of finding projects for the group to work on.

Come learn about yet another group of active, engaged women contributing their time, talent, and resources for the greater good.
